"We plan to turn Kazakhstan into one big construction site", he said, listing hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools, sports facilities and transport infrastructure as the sites.
He also met South Korea's prime minister and set the task of doubling trade, with a comprehensive programme of trade, economic and investment cooperation for 2027 to 2030 and a roadmap for industrial cooperation proposed, Zakon.kz reported at 13:49; more than 1,000 joint ventures with Korean capital work in Kazakhstan. Seoul's account of the Turkmen summit is the only one on the record. The Seoul Economic Daily, at 12:20 Korean time, listed the fields of the 13 documents, investment promotion and protection, infrastructure, the chemical industry and plants, rail transport and water management with the Karakum Canal's modernisation, and quoted Lee saying Korea will work "so that the land connecting the Caspian Sea and Central Asia becomes a new gateway for logistics and trade". He thanked Berdimuhamedov for the evacuation of about 30 Koreans from Iran through Turkmenistan in March; Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed support for Seoul's END initiative.
Turkmenistan's state site, read at 17:30 Ashgabat time, had reached post 110004: a contest of articles for ozone day, a round table at the embassy in Islamabad, a rating of universities. The visit's only post is the departure notice of Monday night, edited on Tuesday morning at 09:42, which names no meeting and no document. The absence reads as a lag: the 11 September Cabinet sitting reached the site as topic posts the next day.
