The heads of National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan, Thermal Power Stations, Uztransgaz and Hududgaztaminot keep their posts to the end of the year, with dismissal named in advance as the consequence of no result.

A stress audit of the energy system was ordered, along with a centre for digitalisation and artificial intelligence in the fuel and energy complex, and 10 performance indicators covering 106,000 energy workers. Labour productivity was put at 1.5 to 2 times below comparable systems, with emergency repairs taking 3 to 4 times longer. Regional Electric Networks employs 25,000 people and Hududgaztaminot 16,000.
Yangiyul district is to be made a model for power and gas supply by 1 October, with 51 mahallas surveyed inside two weeks and losses halved.
This lands ten days after Uzbekistan set consumption records on five consecutive days, reaching 293.4 million kWh on 17 July. A system that sets records in July is a system with no margin in it, and the president has now said so in personnel rather than in a programme.
