The count comes from the health ministry via 24.kg: 10,100 students in universities and 1,800 in colleges, enrolled at institutions closed after failing state accreditation. The transfer process is to finish by 28 August; teaching starts online on 2 September and moves in-person on 15 September, in step with the rest of the education system.
The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy expects about 1,500 of them. Its attestation commission on transfers meets on Tuesday, checking applications, academic records and document sets through the student service center.
