Japarov asks TİKA for hospitals, farm laboratories and small hydro in the high mountains

Sadyr Japarov received the head of Turkey’s cooperation agency TİKA, Abdullah Eren, on Monday and proposed that its next projects in Kyrgyzstan go to health care, the modernisation of agricultural laboratories, vocational education and the training of green-energy specialists, with a separate line for remote and high-mountain districts, the presidential administration said in a readout Bulak carried at 13:45.

For the mountain districts the president named small hydropower, medical infrastructure and access to social services. Eren brought greetings from Erdoğan and spoke of the agency’s new projects in Kyrgyzstan; the sides settled on a list of them, and the readout gives neither sums nor dates. Economist.kg, which carried the readout at 17:44, noted the same absence.

TİKA ran 411 projects in Kyrgyzstan between 2012 and 2017 in education, health, infrastructure and communications, Economist.kg wrote, and in February 2025 it was paying for a carp hatchery at the Uzgen fish farm in Osh region.
