The championship is the chronicle's centrepiece. More than 80 Akhal-Teke horses from Turkmenistan, Central Asia, Europe and America competed at Peelbergen, the state account says, in the first such event held in Europe, and it lists King Willem-Alexander, Prime Minister Rob Jetten, Limburg's King's Commissioner Emile Roemer and minister of state Jan Peter Balkenende among those present. The Dutch side of that guest list is the Turkmen agency's claim; we have not checked it against a Dutch record.
The Calik meeting is dated 6 September and placed in the Netherlands. Calik, the chairman of the board, called the meeting an honour, thanked his host for the invitation to the championship and said the horse events had impressed him. Berdymukhamedov spoke of a foreign economic strategy built on equality and mutual benefit and of relations with Turkey developing along several lines. Calik thanked both Berdymukhamedovs for the conditions created for his work in Turkmenistan and, in the chronicle's words, assured them that his company «will continue to approach the fulfilment of its contractual obligations with full responsibility». The readout names no project.
The project the reader will think of is the one the readout does not name. Calik Enerji delivered the Mary-3 combined-cycle plant, 1,574 MW on four GE F.03 gas turbines and two steam turbines, to the Turkmen energy ministry in December 2018. It stands on the site of the Mary State Power Station, beside eight Soviet-era steam units of 210 to 215 MW dating from 1973 and 1987, and Turkmenenergo owns and runs the whole complex.
On the evening of 30 August the lights went out across Ahal, Mary, Lebap and Balkan provinces and Ashgabat. A representative of the regional administration told Azatlyk, in a report published the next morning, that the trouble began at the Mary station, «possibly a serious malfunction of one of the units». Azatlyk could not confirm the account from another source, and the authorities had not commented. They still have not, in any post we can read.

The Harms meeting ran on medicine. Harms, the executive director of the Ost-Ausschuss, the German business association for eastern Europe and Central Asia, said he was glad to see Berdymukhamedov «on German soil» and called trade and economics one of the most important vectors of the partnership; the readout speaks of German equipment and specialists in Turkmen medical centres and of the medical cluster under construction in Arkadag city. No company and no figure is named.
The rest of the chronicle since Friday is thin. Serdar Berdymukhamedov's resolutions of 4 September appointed new prosecutors for the cities of Balkanabat and Mary and ordered administrative buildings for the State Migration Service in Dashoguz and in Yoloten district under the service's 2022 to 2028 programme. He congratulated the King of Eswatini on 6 September and the president of Brazil on 7 September.
The chronicle lists no Cabinet of Ministers sitting for Friday 4 September, the weekly slot. TDH, the state news agency, returned a server error on 3, 4 and 7 September, so its record could not be read. The refinery fire of 30 August at Turkmenbashi, two days after the Cabinet approved the plant's capital repairs, has no official statement we can find 8 days on, and neither has the blackout.
Independence Day falls on 27 September. The Friday sitting, when it appears, is the first place a repair schedule for Turkmenbashi or a cause for Mary could be spoken.
