The readout from Baku runs from the Washington summit of 8 August 2025 to Baku Energy Week. As Report carried it, the two noted significant progress in the strategic partnership since the summit, the working groups under the charter of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, and the documents signed at Baku Energy Week and the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in energy, exploration and production, investment, digital technology and trade. Bayramov briefed the American side on Azerbaijan’s steps to advance the peace agenda with Yerevan and to strengthen trust and stability in the South Caucasus.
Yerevan’s readout of the Tehran meeting follows the two leaders’ meeting in New York, records satisfaction with the agenda of political contacts, gives particular attention to infrastructure that unblocks transport links and to programmes in the energy sector, and says Mirzoyan presented progress on implementing the TRIPP project. The two also discussed Iran’s high-level participation in COP17 in Yerevan and regional stability and security. Mirzoyan met his Iranian counterpart and the speaker of parliament the same day, by Armenpress.

TRIPP is the route through Armenia’s Syunik region that the Washington summit of August 2025 placed under a framework with the United States, and Syunik borders Iran: the stretch Mirzoyan reported on to Pezeshkian runs along Iran’s frontier.
Neither readout mentions the other call, and neither mentions the Azerbaijani conscript held in Syunik since 26 September and remanded for 2 months on 2 October. Rubio and Bayramov spoke on the day Mirzoyan was in Tehran, and the word TRIPP appears in Yerevan’s readout only.
