Turkmenistan's government site lists the dates of the autumn in Avaza: Caspian environment ministers on 7 October, the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian heads of state with Azerbaijan on 8 October, and a session of the CIS Council of Heads of State on 9 October.

Three summits in 3 days put Avaza at the centre of the autumn's diplomacy, 5 weeks after the SCO gathers in Bishkek. The 8 October title matches what Tashkent formalised on Sunday: the format's own host names Azerbaijan in the meeting's name.
