It surfaces inside the foreign minister’s report on the Korea visit, which the president heard “in the course of a Cabinet of Ministers sitting by digital system”; a Russian-language relay of the readout, carried by two aggregators citing the Vestiabad agency, dates the sitting to 11 September, lists ten reports and places the anniversary plan among them.
Rashid Meredov’s report was the visit: a state visit to the Republic of Korea and the first Central Asia-Republic of Korea summit, with a package of interstate, intergovernmental and interagency documents to sign in the economy, investment, transport and logistics, the chemical industry, infrastructure and industrial construction, the environment, water and science. Serdar Berdimuhamedov called the partnership with Seoul strategic. Two numbers the site’s post does not carry come from the relay: 118 bilateral documents since 1992 and 17 investment projects with Korean companies.
By the relay, the rest of the agenda ran: bills on real-estate registration and the Akhal-Teke horse from the Mejlis chairwoman; a September conference on digital technology; measures on drilling at the state concern Turkmennebit; wheat sowing and the cotton harvest, which opened on 9 September; a decree on the operation of the Baherden, Balkan and Lebap cement plants; the modernisation of a sewing factory at Baharly; October conferences on construction technology and artificial intelligence; civil-aviation safety to ICAO standards.

The same day, Ashgabat hosted the 111th session of the CIS Economic Council at the Yyldyz hotel: 28 agenda items, by the site’s account, and a package a Russian relay lists as a transport-security plan to 2030, a concept for harmonising air-traffic management, a materials concept drawn up with the Kurchatov Institute, a radio-navigation programme to 2030 and joint measures against brucellosis. Sergei Lebedev, the CIS secretary general, counted 56 sectoral councils in the Commonwealth and said all its key transport routes pass through Turkmenistan.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov will join a summit Shavkat Mirziyoyev has already travelled for: the Uzbek president arrived in Seoul on Sunday for a state visit that runs to 16 September and is timed to the summit. The Turkmen post gives no dates for its own visit.
